1. About these terms
These terms are between you and Alltech Installs Pty Ltd (ABN 80 703 619 649, ACN 703 619 649) ("we", "us", "our"). They apply to your use of alltechinstallstec.site and to any installation, set-up, commissioning or maintenance services we provide. Where a written quote we issue sets out different terms for a particular job, the quote prevails for that job to the extent of any inconsistency.
2. Quotes and bookings
Quotes are based on the information you give us and, where applicable, a look at the site. A quote describes the work, any equipment we will supply, and the price. Unless it says otherwise, a quote is valid for 30 days. If the site conditions turn out to be materially different from what was described, or you ask for extra work, we will tell you and agree any change in price with you before proceeding.
3. Site access and safety
You agree to give us safe and reasonable access to the property at the agreed time, and to tell us about anything that may affect the work, such as known hazards, hidden pipes or wiring, asbestos, or body corporate rules. You confirm that you own the property or have permission from the owner for the work to be done. We may pause or decline work if a site is unsafe.
Where part of a job requires a licensed or registered tradesperson, such as fixed electrical wiring, that part will be carried out by an appropriately licensed person and identified in the quote.
4. Equipment
Where we supply equipment, the manufacturer's warranty applies in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Where you supply equipment, you are responsible for its condition, suitability and any manufacturer instructions; we will tell you if we believe it is unsuitable for the intended installation. Ownership of equipment we supply passes to you when it has been paid for in full.
5. Payment
Payment terms, including any deposit, are set out in your quote or invoice. Prices are in Australian dollars. Unless your quote says otherwise, invoices are payable within 14 days of issue.
6. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), set out in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). For services, these include that they will be provided with due care and skill, be fit for any purpose you made known to us, and be supplied within a reasonable time.
For goods, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the ACL or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, and subject to section 6, where our goods or services are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use, our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee is limited, at our option, to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again, or replacing or repairing the goods or paying the cost of doing so.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by equipment you supplied, by your failure to follow reasonable instructions, or by changes made to an installation by someone else after handover.
8. Intellectual property
The content, design and text of this website are owned by or licensed to Alltech Installs Pty Ltd and may not be copied for commercial use without our permission. Install notes and labelling records we prepare for your job are provided for your use at that property. Software and firmware on equipment remain subject to their manufacturers' licence terms.
9. Cancellation and termination
You may cancel a booking by emailing us. If you cancel after we have ordered equipment for you or started work, you may be asked to pay for work done and costs reasonably incurred to that point. Either party may end an engagement by written notice if the other materially breaches these terms and does not fix the breach within 7 days of being asked to. Clauses that by their nature should continue, including sections 6, 7 and 8, survive termination.
10. Use of this website

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and any courts entitled to hear appeals from them. Before starting proceedings, we both agree to try in good faith to resolve any dispute by discussion. Consumer Affairs Victoria may also be able to assist with consumer disputes.
